Semen
So our oldest son is reading the bible today and asks Kristen "Mom, what is semen?" He was reading Genesis 38:9.
Here come the birds and the bees courtesy of a first grader who loves to read the bible. So I guess reading the bible is a catalyst for having good family conversations.

Last week we talked about Leviticus and Numbers in my OT class. Prof. Leder said he once preached on the woman with the flow of blood and also read the applicable passage from Leviticus. Then, he got angry feedback from a congregant because her daughter was there and she wasn't sure what she would say to her. So you're not alone :)....

And I'm sure she handled it with amazing grace and composure. At least he read it in the Bible and didn't just hear it on the street.
